You may add capacitive touch sensors to you DIT projects with this breakout. This modul supports up to 12 capacitive touch sensors with the MPR121 IC on the board.
The breakout uses I2C communication interface to communicate with the microcontroller, it is able to set 4 different I2C device adresses for I2C. This means it is possible to use 4 of this brakouts to get max. 48 capacitive touch sensor inputs. It is also possible to adjust the senstivity when it is needed.
It is possible to operate this breakout with both 3.3 V and 5 logic supply signals by the internal voltage regulator. This modul comes with 0.1 inch headers for simple mounting.
