The 7-Segment Shield compatible with Arduino features many different components, providing the functionalities that might be needed in various projects. There is a 4-digit 7-segment display on the shield. This 7-segment display is driven by the 74HC595 IC. There are ready-to-use header connections to directly connect various temperature sensors (DS18B20 – LM35) and Bluetooth modules.
In addition, a buzzer has been added that can be used in projects such as alarms and playing melodies. Furthermore, there are 3 push buttons, a trimpot connected to the analog 0 (A0) pin, and 4 SMD LEDs on the board. For various sensor connections, 4 header connections consisting of a 5V-GND-Pin trio are provided.
