The RPLIDAR A3 is a high-precision, long-range 360° laser scanner. It is used in applications such as SLAM, mapping, robot navigation, and object detection. Ranging 16000 Times per Second
The sampling rate of LIDAR directly affects the robot's mapping speed and accuracy. The RPLIDAR A3 improves its internal optical design and algorithm system, increasing the sampling rate to 16,000 measurements per second, which delivers significantly better performance than most competitors.
25 Meters Range Radius
With algorithm optimization, the range radius of the RPLIDAR A3 has been increased to 25 meters, allowing for the collection of more environmental map data.
Indoor and Outdoor Availability
The RPLIDAR A3 can operate in two modes: enhanced mode and outdoor mode.
In enhanced mode, it provides excellent mapping performance in indoor environments with maximum range and sampling speed.
In outdoor mode, it is more resistant to daylight interference and maintains stable performance when detecting both white and black objects.
360 Degree Omnidirectional Laser Range Scanning
The distance core of the RPLIDAR A3 rotates 360° clockwise to scan the surrounding environment and then generates a map of the environment.
Brushless Motor, Low Noise, New Non-contact Drive
Compared to the traditional belt-driven system, the RPLIDAR A3 uses a brushless motor to reduce mechanical friction, allowing it to operate smoothly and noiselessly.
Distance Measurement Principle
The RPLIDAR A3 uses the laser triangulation principle and, with its high-speed RPVision motor, measures distance 16,000 times per second. It performs excellently even at long distances.
