RepRap Ramps 1.6 3D Printer Controller Board

The RepRap Ramps 1.6 3D Printer Control Board is a control board widely used in 3D printers.
Compatible with the Arduino® Mega 2560 R3 model and many other boards featuring a similar pin layout, the Ramps 1.6 can be mounted directly onto the Arduino® Mega thanks to its shield design.

This board is very ideal if you are looking for a controller to make your own 3D printer or to change your printer's controller. Ramps has reached so many users for its opensource design info and this made it more developed in time.

Reprap, Mendel and Prusa compatible Ramps allows control of 5 seperate stepper motor.

It is possible to use 5 A4988 motor driver board to control these stepper motors. The products does not include motor drivers. Ramps supports 5 different stepper motors; 1 for X axis, 1 for Y axis, 2 for Z axis and 2 for extruders. Additionally, it has 3 heater outs and 3 limit-switch inputs. Lastly, wiring of the Ramps compatible LCD screen is fulfilled by the particular connector on the board.
