The Grove Flame Sensor can detect fire or other light sources within the wavelength range of 760nm to 1100nm.
The module has a high-speed and high-sensitivity NPN YG1006 silicon phototransistor. Thanks to its black epoxy coating, it is also sensitive to infrared rays.
The sensor module provides a digital output. Sensitivity can be adjusted with the potentiometer on the module. Under normal conditions, the pin output is HIGH; when the sensor detects something, it switches from HIGH to LOW.
