MAX31865 RTD Platinum Resistance Temperature Sensor Module PT100-PT1000 - Solderless
Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are temperature sensors that contain a resistor. As the temperature changes, the resistor changes its value, it's basically a kind of thermistor. Commonly used with PT100/PT1000. Compared to most NTC/PTC thermistors, PT type RTD is much more stable and sensitive. PTs have been used for many years to measure temperature in the laboratory.
- The PT100 version uses 430Ω.
- The PT1000 version uses 4300Ω.
