Original Arduino® Zero Communication:

Arduino® Zero includes UART, SPI, and I2C communication options. Pins 0 (RX) and 1 (TX) can be used for serial communication. In addition, the native USB port can be used with the SerialUSB class. This structure provides flexible use for computer connection and communication with external modules.

Original Arduino® Zero Input and Output:

The 20 general-purpose I/O pins on Arduino® Zero can be used as digital input or output. All pins operate at a 3.3V logic level. Pins 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 can be used for PWM output. While the analog inputs offer 12-bit ADC resolution, the A0 pin can be used as a 10-bit DAC analog output.

Original Arduino® Zero Programming:

Arduino® Zero can be programmed with Arduino® IDE. After the required board support is installed through the Board Manager, you can easily develop your projects by selecting the appropriate board.
