LR7843 MOSFET Driver Board

The LR7843 MOSFET driver board is designed to safely and efficiently switch high-current DC loads. With the optocoupler isolation on the board, electrical isolation between the microcontroller and load is provided, enhancing system safety.

The onboard LR7843 MOSFET offers up to 30V and 160A switching capability, making it suitable for controlling high-current loads such as LED strips, 12–24V DC motors, heating elements, pumps, and similar devices. When operating at high currents, it is strongly recommended to use an external heatsink to ensure safe operation of the MOSFET.

The module can be triggered with 3.3V–5V signals, making it fully compatible with Arduino, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms. Its PWM support allows usage in applications such as motor speed control, LED dimming, and power regulation. The module is only suitable for DC loads and must not be used for AC power switching.

The user-friendly design allows easy wiring. The board includes solderable terminal blocks, but direct cable soldering can also be used if preferred. Typical connection pins are as follows:

  • IN: PWM or digital control signal input

  • V+ (Supply): Positive terminal of the DC power supply

  • LOAD: Output terminal for the connected load

  • GND: Common ground

With its high efficiency, low RDS(on) value, and wide range of usage possibilities, it is an ideal solution for robotics projects, automation systems, power control applications, and hobby electronics.
