SparkFun RedBoard Compatible with Arduino
The SparkFun RedBoard is a development board compatible with Arduino® produced by SparkFun.
Its pin layout and processor are exactly the same as the original Arduino® UNO R3. It only has a few differences for the sake of usability:
- Unlike the original board, the RedBoard development board features a USB mini-B type connector.
- The processor on it is in an SMD package instead of a DIP package like on the UNO.
- It uses the FTDI FT231X IC as the USB-to-serial converter.
It can be programmed via Arduino® IDE by selecting Arduino® UNO as the board model.
