The SIM800C GPRS Module is a compact communication solution capable of performing data transmission, SMS, and voice calls over GSM/GPRS networks. With its low power consumption and small form factor, it is ideal for IoT projects, remote monitoring, and control applications.
It can easily communicate with many microcontroller platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi via UART (TX/RX). Equipped with an onboard micro SIM card slot, power regulation circuitry, and antenna connector, it can be integrated into projects quickly without requiring additional hardware.
Supporting essential internet protocols such as HTTP and TCP/UDP, the SIM800C enables remote data transfer, SMS-based control, call management, and approximate location detection via cell towers. Its low-power modes make it highly efficient for battery-powered applications.
