The SN75176 is a low-power, high-speed half-duplex transceiver IC designed for RS-485 and RS-422 communication standards. It is widely used in industrial automation, communication networks, data acquisition systems, and microcontroller-based serial communication applications.

The IC integrates one driver and one receiver in a single package. With ±15kV ESD protection, a fail-safe receiver design, and support for data rates up to 10 Mbps, it ensures reliable data transmission over long distances and in noisy industrial environments. Its DIP-8 package allows easy use on breadboards and perfboards.
