This development board, featuring the SIM808 module, allows you to integrate GSM communication and GPS functionality into your Arduino or Raspberry Pi projects. Using this board, you can send and receive SMS messages, perform location tracking, and even build your own mobile communication device. The onboard SIM808 module handles both GSM communication and GPS reception.
The board can be powered by a 5–26V DC power supply or battery (for voltages below 9V, a power source capable of delivering at least 2A is recommended). Alternatively, you can use the onboard lithium battery connector to power it with a single-cell (1S) Li-Po or Li-Ion battery (operating voltage range: 3.5–4.2V). SMA connectors are provided for antenna connections. Separate antennas are required for GSM, GPS, and Bluetooth functions.
To power on the board, press and hold the "start" button for 2 seconds after connecting the power supply. You can monitor the network connection status via the onboard LEDs. It supports TTL serial communication (UART) compatible with 1.25V/3.3V/5V systems, making it easy to interface with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and similar development platforms.
To use the Bluetooth feature, you must connect an SMA-connector Bluetooth antenna. GPS and GSM antennas are included in the product package.
Note: This product has an unregistered IMEI.
