The Radiolink SUI04 Pixhawk Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is a micro-sized, ultra-lightweight obstacle avoidance and distance measurement module specifically engineered for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), multirotors, and autonomous ground rovers. Seamlessly compatible with popular open-source flight controllers like Pixhawk, APM, and Mini Pix, this smart sensor excels at precision automated landing, terrain following, and real-time collision avoidance missions.
Featuring an onboard 32-bit MCU at its core, the SUI04 processes and filters ultrasonic signals at the hardware level. This advanced architecture filters out anomalies and false positives caused by propeller airflow, motor noise, and environmental interference, delivering ultra-clean distance data to the flight controller. Utilizing the **I2C communication interface**, it supports **multi-sensor cascading (daisy-chaining)** on a single bus line. This allows you to mount multiple SUI04 modules facing forward, backward, downward, and sideways to establish a comprehensive 360-degree obstacle detection shield around your aircraft.
