Notify me when its in stock 3D printers have become a widely popular technology and are now entering more and more homes. With the release of affordable 3D printer models , it has become easier for people to access these devices. Porima combines its extensive know-how in materials with additive manufacturing technologies to produce high-performance filaments manufactured with high precision. FDM 3D printers generally use PLA or ABS consumables for printing. With Porima’s high-performance PLA filaments, you can print at very high speeds and achieve maximum quality on most FDM 3D printers.
How to Find the Ideal Printing Temperature?
PLA filaments are generally known to melt between 190–220°C. However, each filament has an optimal temperature at which it delivers the best printing performance. Printing at this optimal temperature can make a noticeable difference in print quality.
When you open a new filament spool, finding this temperature first will help your future prints come out better. You can determine the optimal temperature by printing a Temp Tower. A Temp Tower is a stepped model where each section is printed at a different temperature (set in the G-code during slicing). After printing, you examine each level and choose the temperature that looks best. That value is the optimal printing temperature for your filament.
