How to find the ideal printing temperature?
PLA filaments generally melt between 190-220°C. However, each filament type has a specific temperature range where it delivers the most optimal results. Printing at this temperature can create a clearly visible improvement in print quality.
When you open a new filament spool, it is recommended to first determine this optimal temperature so that your future prints are more consistent and of higher quality. You can find the optimal temperature by printing a temperature tower (Temp Tower). A Temp Tower is a model made up of several levels. While preparing the G-code, each level is assigned a different nozzle temperature. After the print is complete, each level is examined one by one and the temperature that gives the best visual quality is selected. This value will be the optimal printing temperature for the filament you are using.
