TPU filaments are generally known to melt between 210-230°C. However, each filament type has a temperature value at which it prints with the most optimal efficiency. Printing at this temperature can make a noticeable difference in print quality.
When you open a new filament package, finding this temperature first will ensure that your later prints are of better quality. You can find the optimal temperature value by printing the Temp Tower. Temp Tower is a building consisting of floors. While preparing the printing gcode file, it is ensured that each layer is printed with a different temperature value. Then, each layer is examined one by one and the temperature value with the best print quality is selected. This temperature value shows the optimal printing temperature for the filament you receive.
