NeoPixelis a RGB LED that you can connect them togheter for multiple using, can be controlled byusing only one microcontroller pin. This board contains 8 LEDs that connected end to end, on it. Also you can chain these sticks end to end for multiple using.
The LEDs on the board are 5 mm x 5 mm NeoPixels. These LEDs have 24-bit color resolution. They operates with 4-7V supply voltage (5V recommended). They draw 20mA of maximum current per pixel. They are driven by a constant value of current so even if your battery goes low, your NeoPixel's brightness level never reduces. You can drive NeoPixels up to 500 of them, in 30FPS rate by using Arduino. Arduino's process capability and memory sizes will not allow you to driveNeoPixel more than 500.
